I can only hope the rest of the titles adhere to the "Nounverber" format.

And, a slightly older * (I think by a month) Science Fiction Marathon, the 30 (approx) hour Cleveland Science Fiction Marathon will celebrate it's Fortieth incarnation January 16-17, 2015. Y'all come.

If anyone needs it, I might even be able to put people up camp out style before or after the show.

* People on the Boston Board were initially somewhat cheesed off when I suggested that Cleveland was slightly older. I produced evidence which was immediately dismissed with some humor. We ended in a non-aggression pact when it was suggested that Boston was clearly the longest running INDEPENDENT SF Marathon.

Although not really "Sci-Fi" I would love to see MoonRaker at the Sci-Fi Marathon, that was my First James Bond theater experience even though it was a Drive-in theater. Obviously there is a special place in my heart for the Roger Moore Era of Bond Films because of this.

Of course it's Sci-Fi. It's James Bond in SPAAAAAACE!

I mean, sure, it's soft sci-fi. But Bond's gadgets in most of the films of that era already are on the edge of science fiction. If we're ok with Iron Man or Batman at the Marathon, I think that Moonraker gets a pass.

Ticket and plane reservations acquired over the weekend. Barring unforeseen circumstances, I'll be there.
