So excited!

April seems the beast time to hold the annual Sci Fi thon. For me I get my refund check and birthday cash around that time.

Do NOT buy a plane ticket, hire a babysitter or calibrate your interociter based on this extremely iffy info. We're thinking April 9-10 or April 16-17. April 24 is Easter, so that's out. I'd like a definitive answer even more than you. When I know, it'll be posted here and we'll send an email out to the Official Marathoid Mailing List.

Not sure if it counts for anything, but of the two, I'd prefer April 9th over April 16th. I'd probably still be able to make it on the 16th though.

For what it's worth, my vote also goes toward the weekend of the 9th/10th.

I came out of the bunker for a few minutes to see if a date was set yet. I know it usually happens shortly after the Oscars most years. I will say the April 9th date works better for me.

I asked one of the employees working concessions, and he said that the word was that the marathon would be the second weekend in april (april 9&10), but that nothing was official

Can't seem to get replacement parts for our vintage 1999 Wayback Machine, so the clock continues to tick. There is progress, but wormholes are opening up all around. Now we're looking at April 16-17 or April 30-May 1 as the most likely SF 28 Marathon dates. Hope to have a definitive announcement by next weekend....

This will be my first marathon; but if my vote counts for anything, I like April 30-May 1
