Man, I would rather the risk of rain than have to deal with snow again. That's a marathon that will live in infamy...

If you are referring to the old Drexel North I had to leave early that year because I had a job with Lockheed plowing the runways at Rickenbacker...that was a horrible job and it ruined my marathon

Seems to me like it rains almost every year. I remember the one year at the Grandview it was like a torrential downpour for a good portion of the 24 hours.

Nope, SF15 (2005) at the Grandview.

Morning started off nice and warm, then we got a temp drop and a drizzle around 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. By 9:00 it was freezing and snowing.

Around 10, they ended up letting us come inside the lobby of the Grandview to wait until noonish.

I was wearing a T-shirt and a thin trenchcoat (which was absolutely fine when I left my house at 5:00 a.m.!) and ended up drenched and freezing by the time they let us in.

Thanks for the correction. Now that I think about it, it's been one of the years we were at the Drexel East that it was pouring.

This is why you always check the weather and pack accordingly. 2005 wasn't that the year that they screened that horrible Matrix parody?

Hopefully the website will be updated by next week.
