Thor must've had an invisibility cloak on.

I saw Thor walking down the aisle during the second half of Endhiran.

Thor had delays that kept him from making it in from the lobby before the contest was over. He took some pictures with Superman, Zapp and the Fly in the lobby.

It's a shame that he didn't get to come down for the whole crowd - I really liked his costume. And his homemade Mjolnir was pretty cool.

It was a shame he didn't make it up there. I recall a guy with a Vader costume barely making it in many years ago. The contest was almost settled when he arrived. I did like the costumes this year, though there were but a handful. And I like Aaron's comment about his costume and Tom Welling.

Why thank you. I thought it was fairly clever.

Not enough to beat out the threat of what was under Zapp's skirt, apparently, but clever. :)

Seriously, I was a little sad not to see more entries. I know there were more hands up when Bruce asked who had a costume.

And I had a blast finally wearing my Superman outfit in public.

A tip of the space helmet to all this year's entrants for the quality of the costumes and for intimidating their competition into submission.

Maybe someone can correct me on this, but I believe this was the first 'Thon costume contest, sci-fi or horror, without a female entrant. Just seems wrong.

I think you are correct, what happened to the half naked chick that would always steal most of the votes?

I was overheated and felt dizzy as I went out to my uncle's car to put on the Thor costume. I sat in the a/c for several minutes to recuperate, and when I went back inside fully costumed, I was told the contest was over. :( However, I was encouraged to wait for Bruce to see me in the hallway, and possibly snag a runner-up prize of some sort. I got so much more than that. When Bruce, Zapp, Superman, and The Fly all came out, everyone said "where were you? we called a few times for you." I got to take some neat prizes home, got awesome feedback from everyone in the hall as those of us in costume took several photos together. Then Bruce put it over the top by parading me down the aisle during the second half of Endhiran, announcing me to a very nice round of applause, then parading me out. I will never forget the experience, and it only further enhanced my love of the Marathons. Thanks soo much guys!!!

Also, would love to get a hold of the photos that were taken by Jeff, and the first time Marathon-goer, which was really cool to see as well. I really would love to share those photos with friends and fam!
