Any word on the date? Will it be April 16-17 or the 30 to May 1st? Will it be at the Drexel due to the rumors about the theater changing hands?

I hope that's a major hint. If Buckaroo plays. I hope it plays at a reasonable hour. Both times I've seen it at the theater I've nodded off: once at a marathon around 3am and another time at a midnight screening. And I'm even older now, so I'd say playing it first is safest.

Though your suggestion of an opener is good too, I stand behind what I posted last year when they teased us with a repeat appearance from Buckaroo:

Well early indicators suggested Buckaroo would show...it may still. I'm waiting for confirmation one way or the other.

If it turns up, it would be a great film to end on. I have been whistling the theme song for a couple weeks now. I can't think of a better way to send us all on our way come Sunday afternoon:

Well if it is a "HINT" it may be a bigger hint that anyone realizes...

the dashingly handsome and often flatulent Mr. Neff has nothing to do with the Sci-Fi marathon other than being a close personal friend of the Host Organism Bruce, so if Joe is dropping hints than I would wager that the days of the Sci-Fi marathon at the Drexel are over and Joe and Bruce will be teaming up with the Grandview to Bring us "The 1st Annual Two Headed Thing That Eat The Grandview"

I may be reading into this but after all I am a Vatican Assassin Warlock with Tiger Blood and Adonis DNA.

Boy, ya try to help a friend by tossing out a promo on the site, and BINGO you're co-organizing the event, huh? Sheesh.

No, I'm not running the Sci-Fi Marathon with Bruce, and last I heard the event is still in Bexley this year. I do help out behind the scenes with keeping the Facebook page and Forum updated, so my name pops up in relation to Sci-Fi once in awhile.

If the Marathon going to happen next month and it is still going to be at the Drexel then April 30 to May 1st is likely.

This is mere speculation of course. I do hope a decient print of Banzai.

I sill hope Zardoz will screen.

I just think it's strange that Both Peter Weller and John Lighgow have both been villians on DEXTER if Jeff Goldblum is next I would not be surprized..just sayin'

The marathon left the Drexel or the Drexel left it before. This is no knock on Jeff, they have been great supporters and I hope wwhatever is going on there works out well for them.

I have no problems with it at Grandview. I missed the 2010 horror marathon for personal reasons, it sounds like ti went well, and would be a great venue. The only thing I want is to keep the numbering. Maybe even using one of the lost years numbers.

Since the confirmed announcement of SF 28 on May 21-22 I'm glad it is going to happen. I'm also glad that Buckaroo have a chance to make a appearance as well. It would make a great ending to SF28.

I'm still hoping that Jason X will be booked.

Sad to be missing this year's Marathon as I have family obligations that weekend! I had hoped it would have been in early May!!! This is the third marathon I've missed since I started coming in 1988-- and all three because the dates were announced so late that I was already committed to family obligations! Have fun everyone.
