I enjoy the shorts too. If it doesn't work, no harm, it'll be over in 10 minutes.

The burgeoning piracy debate has been moved here.

This will be my first marathon since 2009 but I'd like to see more action and schlocky 80's titles at the marathon. I can live without the shorts since I typically think they get in the way.

I'd like to see a Predator, Predator 2, and Predators triple feature.

Since there seems to be some enthusiasm for sequels, what about interspersing the sequential appearances of everone's favorite Martian between the full length features?
Haredevil Hare (1948)
The Hasty Hare (1951)

(The Great) Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century (1953)
Hare-Way to the Stars (1958)
Mad as a Mars Hare (1963)
Spaced Out Bunny (1980)- &
Duck Dodgers and the Return of the 24½th Century (1980)

How about The Prophacy? It is fantasy film as a horror film. Lifeforce did screen at one of the Arena Grand Science Fiction Marathon.

Robocop 3 for the three of four am slot. for people who want to nap.

Macross Do You Remember Love? Just a wish. Damn Harmony Gold for not allowing more Macross properties to reach here in the US.

Weird Science. Just to see the faces of the twenty five year olds and under.

Steel See reason for Robocop 3. Yes my copy of Steel from the Warner Archive MOD came today. I want to own all movie adaptations and comic book series. Good or Bad.

The aptly named, "Sir Not Appearing In This Marathon"

Monty Python's The Life of Brian has a Space Ship and Aliens in it, I think that qualifies it as a possible movie for the 'thon!!

How about Rocky IV? Since the movie contains a Robot. Robot's can be consider science fiction.

Rocky IV was more Sci-Fi than Happy Accidents was so as Rocky Balboa would say "Go For It"

Rocky IV also have the noted man droid. So hey why not.

I did watched American Cyborg Steel Warrior last night. Wow just so bad. It also came with my copy of Steel from Warner Archive MOD. Get American Cyborg for the two or three am slot.

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

Superman and the Mole Men. Only fifty-eight minutes long.

The Walt Disney's debacle Condorman.

Don't know that this really does much good for this year, but eleven years after its release I just finally saw Ghosts of Mars. It's quite good, a siege thriller with a great cast that hearkens back to Assault on Precinct 13. It would be perfect for that much-debated third from last slot, as it features lots of fights, explosions and angry crowds running around.

Only saw it once or twice, quite a few years ago. Definitely wouldn't mind seeing it again.

One of these years there ought to be a full 24-hour Mars theme. It should be do-able without getting repetitive. There's enough potential variety to make each one feel different enough from all the rest.

Stuff like Total Recall, War Of The Worlds, etc.

John Carter next year for all those of us who aren't bothering with it right now. That's right, I skipped John Carter and went to see The Hunger Games instead. That movie actually has some decent sci-fi ideas in it. Pleasantly surprised as I hadn't read the books and was afraid I might've stumbled into some horrible romance like Twilight, but fortunately The Hunger Games almost completely ignores the romance angle save for two or three scenes.

Love Ghosts of Mars, saw it when it first came out. The movie doesn't get much respect but I think it would play well at any Sci-Fi Marathon
