The Ohio Sci-Fi and Horror Marathons

I just spoke with Jeff and he has confirmed that Saturday-Sunday, April 14-15 is the date for the 24th Annual 24 Hour Ohio Science Fiction Marathon at the Drexel Gateway. Set your saucer headings and teleporter vectors accordingly.

OK, now were talking!! I will be there this year. YES! It's been tooooo long.

I am glad you will be able to come this year Carter. I missed 3 marathons when we moved out here and just couldn't get rid of the itch and have been to the last 5.

In case you haven't heard, Bruce is trying very hard for a permanent date. The Gateway is hopefully our permanent home and his announcement last year was that the fixed date (for now) is the second weekend in April except for Easter which is only happening once in the next 20 or so years, in which case it is the following week. It worked this year so hopefully the plan comes together.

Looking at a calendar, that would make the next few marathons
April 12-13, 2008
April 18-19 2009 (because April12th is Easter)
April 10-11 2010
April 9-10 2011
..and so on.
