Getting bored looking at the site and never seeing any actual news. Is the date actually set for April 21st or is that a rumor? Throw us some raw meat!

"Raw Meat" is the only other horror film that I know that takes place in the London Underground. The other one is "Creep", starring Franka Potente. It's a very good film and I wouldn't be opposed to it being shown at this year's horror marathon. It has GREAT atmosphere and mood! See for yourself (don't worry, it has nothing to do with the band TLC):

It's now March 10. It's starting to look more and more likely that April 21 isn't going to be the date for the marathon this year. (Still possible, but the clock is ticking. I'd expect to hear something in the next week or so if that's going to be the date.)

Which is fine with me, I liked the May date last year. (I just hope its not May 26, Flogging Molly is playing a full concert after the Crew game that night.)

Oh yeah HAHA them too! Franka Potente has played in a few other horror movies: "Anatomie" and "Anatomie 2". There IS another horror film that I know of that takes place on a train, (actually a few of them) just none that I know of that take place in the London Underground, besides "Raw Meat":
"The Horror Express",
"Night Train To Terror",
"Terror Train",
"Train" (the remake of Terror Train),
"End Of The Line"
"Midnight Meat Train"
"Snakes On A Train"

and for video game fans out there: "Resident Evil 0" takes place partially on a train.

RE 0 is the only RE game that is a challenge. No magical footlocker to keep your weapons.

I believe that this thread is probably worth revisiting at this point:

http://www.scifimarathon.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1071

Substitute the most current date, adjust for a year's time since initial posting, etc. But the sentiments remain valid and relevant.

So soon we forget the death of Bib Fortuna?

(Ok, granted, the whole movie doesn't take place in the Tube, but I couldn't just let it pass. That long-shot down the escalator is one of my favorites in all of horror.) :)

Speaking of which, Joe ...

Fun fact of the day: An American Werewolf in London has never played a Columbus Horror Marathon.

Hmmmmm...................

I think it's time to correct that oversight.

While I always believed the April 21st date was rumor at best, I do think someone official should have commented on it. After all, it was printed as fact on at least two other websites. If that was never the date, then why couldn't someone have said, "that's not the date, there is no date yet, forget about it"? Not to be critical, but someone at Anchor Bay apparently believes this to be fact. It wouldn't have hurt to set the record straight right away rather than keep us all in suspense. Nothing personal against Bruce or Joe or anyone at the Drexel, just a comment. It would have been nice if this had been addressed.
