With the purchase of Lucasfilm for four billion dollars Disney set the release date for Episode 7 for 2015. Kathleen Kennedy is set to produce.

Now before people start to complain Disney's Marvel films are doing great. Pixar is doing great.

Hey I hope they will give it to Joss Whedon to write and direct.

Riddle me this, Batman:

What came first, the new line of Star Wars toys, or the movie?

After what Disney has done with the Marvel Universe films, I am very excited about what they will do with the Star Wars Universe.

I'm glad to see its not just Episodes 7-9 either. Looking forward to see what one-off movies they can come up with.

Hopefully they can work out a deal to get some of the original cast members back in supporting roles. I'm hoping that Disney won't water down The Clone Wars tv series. Sam Jackson wants to come back.

Well JJ Abrams isn't too bad. I agree on Whedon though, can't really think of anything he has done I haven't liked. My wife has a love/hate relationship with him because of his ability to twist the knife. He ruined Buffy for her after the Normal Again episode. All she could think of was her poor parents and continued to believe that the entire run of the show were delusions.

I would like to see The Rise of Darth Vader to be adapted as a movie.
