Has anything been done with the Cafe side of things? People (some that should know better by now) were extra cranky when I wouldn't let them bring food in with the cafe closed.

Its still closed. It seems that I have to go next door so to speak to that Cosi quick service place to get dinner. I have to see what movie I have to miss.

I miss the Radio Cafe, I liked the food much better for a marathon. Regular Theater fare gets old after a while. Probably too much overhead, but I would be willing to pay for some kind of food wrsitband that let me bring items from local establishments in. A Graeter's milkshake would be nice, for example.

Disappointing as that is a great space - and the food was decent.

If Jen happens across this thread - the info page still mentions the Radio Cafe.

Crazy to me that in that location nobody has moved into that space in a year. Great spot.

Yes, people are/were super ticked to not be allowed to bring stuff in. Maybe some options to get a wider variety of stuff brought in?

Over at the grandview they have a menu with an outside food provider. It would be nice if the Drexel have something like that.

Probably would be a permitting issue in Bexley, but would love to see a food truck or two outside as options. Also would need to figure out how to make sure CAPA/the Drexel got a cut from that.

The pizza that they have last year was the quality of those dollar fifty pizza's you find at Krogers. Ktechup on a cracker.

Sad. Looked at the space last year & thought that - it would have been nice ---.
CWRU, because they are significantly non-commercial does not limit the import of food. But still, people go out. The possibility of a real eatery within the confines of the theater would be wonderful. Particularly for an old fart like me who is not beyond paying for his pleasures.
Even though they have local pizza & submarine places bring in food during the event, CWRU people still bolt for actual quality food.
So allow for a variety of choices. Could the Drexel allow food importations if they got a cut? It would improve the experience. Departures for gastronomic or simple needs to take a break could still happen.
I seem to remember that they brought in doughnut type food.
Someone please ask Drexel if they could allow importation of a wider variety should if they receive a piece of the proceeds?
