Are we not getting the normal big, numbered tickets this year? I just picked mine up at the theater and got regular movie tickets like I was there for just one show.

I think you just missed me KidneyPi. I got there a bit earlier before you did. The ticket I purchase it have the number one on the right hand side of the ticket.

Now I know who KidneyPi looks like.

BTW supposed to tickets for a SF halfathon according to the ticket person. Are there going to be more info about that as well?

Is it me or the SF Marathon isn't like it was used to be? No big ticket. What's next no program guide?

I just called Laughing Ogre, and they have not received the tickets yet, so I don't know if they are going to be the bigger sized tickets or not.
The person I spoke with didn't know.

Both of my tickets say 1 as well. I must've missed both of you, I got there at noon today.

The young lady at the counter said they would be getting the bigger tickets in at some point but they did not have them yet. She did not know when they would get them. I guess the two of you prepared her for me. I had a few other things to do or would have posted sooner. I wanted to "warn" other folks as well.

Hopefully I don't lose these, they don't stand out in any way. Have to think about where to put them.

Well, Jeff and I had agreed on Saturday as the day they'd go on sale. Surprise! The Drexel, Laughing Ogre and PayPal all have the real tickets now. You guys can either stop by for the real thing or call the Drexel (614 231-1050) and arrange to have them send them to you.

Bruce are you sure that I can stop by and exchange for the proper ticket? Do the MGT and the employees know about this?

They put aside the first tickets that correspond to those sales. They're waiting excitedly to apologize for the inconvenience. It would be wise to take the ticket stub they gave you as proof of purchase.

I notice they had the first five in an envelope. I got 1 and 2. There was a wee bit of confusion, the young lady tried to give me the same kind of ticket, but talked to her manager who got it straightend out.

Correct me.

I think the higher numbers tickets go to the Drexel. While the lower number tickets go to the Orge.

For out of towners, what is the best ticket access?
I'd like a cheap ticket, however a four hour round trip to Columbus isn't worth it.
Thanks.

What it has been for many years is Drexel gets ticket 1-150. Ogre gets 150 to the end. This year it looks like 1-100 at the Drexel and 101-the end at the Ogre. I used to always get my tickets there because I had family in Clintonville and/or it wasn't far out of my way on my commute. I have no more family in Clintonville and I work much closer to the Drexel.

Pogo, if you go here, http://www.scifimarathon.com/tickets.html you can order them online with a $2.00 paypal fee, per ticket. There are actually several options there, with directions on sending a check and a SASE or calling the ticket office. All have a fee associated with them. The fees though are much cheaper than a four hour round trip would cost, unless you are planning to buy more than 81 tickets.
