I have never seen Dr. Cyclops but it could be cool.

What they were able to book a film that doesn't have the year 2012 attached to it. Amazing. But then again the movie might be dropped by the end of the day and be replaced.

Again, cut the crap Will!!! Please please please, you've stated your opinion in every topic, now let it be and let the remainder of us enjoy the forums as they were intended. And btw, I think Dr. Cyclops will be a fun movie to watch. :)

If Bruce Bartoo was fully in charge the lineup will be a lot better. Don't settle for low expectations for the SF Marathon.

This is actually looking like one of the best lineups ever.

Some of the all-time greats, like 2001 and Inception.
Some old-time fun, like Monolith Monsters and Dr Cyclops.
Some crazy ass stuff, like mega Monster Battle and Danger 5.
And then some brand new stuff, including 2 that I've been wanting to see (Upside Down and Safety Not Guaranteed), and then Vanishing Waves, which, well, did a decent job of selling me with that trailer.

Seriously, this is looking like it could be one of the best lineups ever. (Even if Upside Down is as much of a disappointment as many of the reviews say it is. It should still be cool to look at.)

This is indeed a good (great, in my opinion, but I'll try not to oversell) addition to the lineup - filmed in that great early (three-strip?) Technicolor, which I imagine will look sensational on the big screen. Those who appreciate the classics should certainly be delighted by it. And it's not just cheese - if memory serves, it addresses themes later fleshed out in The Incredible Shrinking Man, which most enthusiasts of the genre agree doesn't deserve to be grouped with the many other Universal B-movies of the time.
I had been one of the frustrated ones considering bowing out - but I think I'm going to make the trip after all.

You do realise that Dr Cyclops will be on some sort of optical disc or DCP. It will not be on film.
