I have talked several folks in Cincinnati into coming with me this year, but I'd love to be able to post a flier in the library where I work. Is there any possibility of making a PDF of this years flier that I can download and print out?

Great idea.

That would be great for us out of towners. I personally like to drool over the flier for at least 2 weeks before the marathon. I tried to get Chicago to copy the craftsmanship that goes into theColumbus fliers, but they keep choosing instead to go with a postcard with one picture on each side and the list of films. Certainly nothing worth saving. In fact, I lamenated all my old fliers and plastered them over my office walls. A little inspiration when I'm writing my own horror scripts.

I haven't lamenated them, but I do have some fliers in my cube as well.

I guess I should make clear that I meant my home office. 15+ laminated marathon fliers might look a little weird if I worked at an insurance company or something.

Has anyone seen a flier for this year yet? I like to collect them and living out of state I can't really stop by the theater. A downloadable one would be cool, but is there even a paper one out there so I can tell my friends?

So far, to my knowledge, no flyer has been created. :(

Awesome! This will now officially be the latest that a flyer has ever been circulated. We are making marathon history! I just hope attendance is high. I really want to see the marathons do well. Has there been other publicity or ads. I'm not in Columbus, so I don't get to see the publicity.

I know for those of us who read the board...around 20 or 30 at most....know about the event, but I'm wondering about all the other folks. Is 2 week notice enough time for someone to arrange their entire weekend so that they can make the event, 'cause it basically takes up the entire weekend. I don't know about everyone else, but my Sunday is basically destroyed after the event.

Like I said, so far to my knowledge there has not been one. I do not, however, work at the Drexel so I cannot say for sure...they may have created one separately for all I know... :P

As for ticket sales, unfortunately, I don't know on that one either. Given past years, I imagine this one is doing quite well as well.

With a now nearly complete lineup, hoping to have it finished tomorrow. Getting it printed and distributed will take slightly longer. We will get something on line for our far flung marathoid throng. Are we there yet?

Thanks, Bruce! I've got at least four folks coming with me, with the possibility of a few more. The flier might just do the trick!

Here's two versions of the flyer scanned in and turned into a pdf. One version is the Legal size, and the other is re-sized down to 8.5 x 11 size...
To save them, simply right-click and select "Save Target As" and select where you wouldl like to save it.

Thanks!
