Yesterday watched Stargate and Re-Animator. Happy to see one of my marathon prep films, Dredd, show up on the official lineup!

I watched The Host yesterday---the 2006 Korean movie, not the Stephenie Meyer adaptation. I also put on a thing on Netflix called Celluloid Bloodbath, which is basically a bunch of grindhouse horror trailers interspersed with short interviews and segments. Not exactly sci-fi but it seemed in the Marathon spirit.

Watched over the past few days:

- Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959)
- Class of Nuke 'Em High (1986)
- A Trip to the Moon (1902), plus The Extraordinary Voyage (2011), a documentary about the film's making, filmmaker, and restoration

Plus some more episodes of Star Trek TOS.

Over last night and this morning I watched Forbidden Planet (1956) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) Director's Cut. Forbidden Planet was really well done and got me excited for some more '50s sci-fi to kick off the marathon on Saturday!

I just started a book Blackmoon. It is about a world where almost everyone can not sleep and go crazy.
It seems appropriate.
