Yep, it's once again that time of the year, when head Fat Guy Kevin Carr grills us about the Marathons. Oh yeah, note the plural reference, 'cause for the first time, Bruce joins me in the nerve center of Fat Guys Central for a stirring discussion of all things Marathon.

After streaming the podcast I was quite happy that SPACEBOY is back.

For anyone interested in trying to guess at the schedule before it's announced, here's a summary of Bruce and Joe's comments about it from the podcast:

-Infra-Man: Played at a "decent hour"
-Dredd: "Feels like a 5 AM kind of movie to wake people up"
-Escape From New York: Probably the closer
-Running Man: Probably in the morning
-Metropolis: Early in the schedule
-Delicatessen: Not too late
-Akira: Not too late
-Everything else: juggled around
-There has been some discussion about possibly starting with The Quiet Earth or Earth vs. the Flying Saucers

Earth vs the Flying Saucers should be the first movie. Due to the nature of the SF marathon being more family friendly. The Quiet Earth starts out with full frontal nudity. In the past any movie with nudity gets screened after midnight. Since SF30 have more R rated movies in the lineup it will be interesting.
