That's insane alright.

What are your odds of staying awake for the full 24 hours if you do this?

Yea we try to get together on every FRIDAY THE 13th and watch the movies, we don't always push ourselves to watch them all but we try. It's mainly an excuse to take the day off work and hang out with my friends, eat a bunch of junk food and watch old Jason do his thing.

Friday the 13th part III(D) is the only Friday the 13th movie to be filmed in anamorphic.

Yep, all 80's 3-D movies were filmed in scope.

Started part 4 at 9:45am after getting a few hours sleep, I wish I could say I slept good but I kept having bad dreams, I dreamed I was a weiner being crushed by a bun.

Funny thing when you get to Freddy V Jason, New Line uses the theatrical anamorphic print for the pan and scan version. Dispite the movie was done in Super 35. Note all movies that are done in the Super 35 process, the studios do create a anamorphic print for the theaters. No theater can matted a film to 2.35:1.

IIRC Part III was actually filmed using a process that utilized half of a frame for one view and the other half for the other view, thereby saving money by not having to use two cameras with two negatives. That's why it looks so grainy: each view only used half of the available real estate.

Just looked it up. It was called "Spacevision" and was the process used on pretty much all of the 3D films from the mini-boom of the 1980's.

Useless trivia, I know. I'm a 3D buff.
