This isn't really a "best Marathon" kind of list, we've already got a thread for that elsewhere. But there are several films that Ohio Sci-Fi has never shown which I would NEVER be sad to hit the screen ... films which could be slotted in anywhere, anytime, and it would make me all tingly.

So ... without trying to lay out an actual Marathon schedule, how about the "10 Films We'd Most Like To See SOMETIME" ... new arrivals only.

My "10 Most Wanted"

    Things to Come
    Night of the Lepus
    Colossus: The Forbin Project
    Slaughterhouse-Five
    Logan's Run
    Phase IV
    Delicatessen
    Demon Seed
    MST3K: The Movie
    The Andromeda Strain

Some of these I'm surprised haven't shown in the past. CWRU has had several of them, so there are prints floating about out there somewhere :) .

I just noticed that we were supposed to limit the lists to 10 films (mine has something like 15), but a couple of mine don't really count and I really consider the Back to Future movies one long epic story rather than 3 distinct films.

Since almost all the films I listed for the ideal marathon thread are ones that have never been shown before I'll just post those here as well. I've also replaced 'Incredible Shrinking Man' with another Goji film since I found out that it has already played recently.

GOJIRA(the original uncut japanese version)
DIE MONSTER DIE!(starring Boris karloff and Nick Adams)
CASSHERN(I love this film! Can't say enough good things about it!)
GODZILLA VS THE COSMIC MONSTER(MECHAGODZILLA1974)
YOR, THE HUNTER FROM THE FUTURE(we need atleast one stinker to have fun with. This one has cavemen, dinosaurs, mummies, robots, ray guns, spaceships and a bad comic book reject super villain too!)
CALTIKI: THE IMMORTAL MONSTER(very rare, kinda like a Mexican version of the Blob)
SPRIGGAN(cool anime movie)
V FOR VENDETTA(we usually have a reletively recent film show up at the thon, this one gets my vote)
THE QUATERMASS EXPERIMENT(Hammer studios first foray into science fiction)
UNDEAD(space aliens and zombies in Austraila, has to be seen to be believed)

Since I listed 2 films that already played the marathon, I' ll substitute 13th Floor and 12:01.
