If we go the traditional route - the marathon will open with mad max and close with MM- Fury Road.

Hmm, I don't think it would be a good idea to show Turkish Star Wars at 2am. People need to be wide awake to take advantage of that movie.

And yeah, Mad Max is definitely one of the favorites to be the opening movie, with Fury Road a good bet to be the finisher. I'm sure a lot of people will want to see Fury Road though, so maybe the bosses will schedule it before the final 8-10 hours.

No great thoughts on order. I would like MM-Fury (Seen it twice this month) & JasonX to be together, preferably at midnight, for the purpose of sleeping, or at the end, for the purpose of quick departure.

Jason X wouldn't be a bad closer. Anyone who wants to skip it can simply leave, but it's also the type of movie that can wake you up at 10am and get you ready for the drive home.

I'd probably schedule Jason X for the 4 or 6am slot though. Because Fury Road would REALLY get you ready for the drive home!

Cleez,
In some ways true. Cleve. did MM-Fury last.
But after all the smash bang, the ending of the movie did allow exhaustion to take over.
Treating the question seriously, I do like a mix of new, old, fast paced and slow throughout.
Whatever your taste, or exhaustion level with a certain type of film, you are always looking forward to what's next.
Hence Ghost's list ain't half bad - with your amendment of putting the original MM first.

MAD MAX I
DESTROY ALL MONSTERS
STARMAN
PREMIERE I/HIGH RISE
FANTASTIC VOYAGE
MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH
Turkish STAR WARS
Premiere II
ZARDOZ
JASON X
MAD MAX IV

That's pretty much what I would do with this list in Boston (and, I'm sure folks here prefer that I DON'T schedule Ohio! I feel the love already. ). Of course, we've never done two films from the series before, so that might change the calculus. And, it also depends on what that last movie is.

I am always wrong, but here is my guess:

MAD MAX
DESTROY ALL MONSTERS
STARMAN
HIGH RISE
THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH
TURKISH STAR WARS
ARROWHEAD
JASON X
ZARDOZ
FANTASTIC VOYAGE
MAD MAX FURY ROAD

The MAD MAX bookends are pretty much a given. Since there is an overabundance of Scope format films, I believe they will bundle the only three not in Scope together so there is only the need for two screen changes because they have to set up the curtain manually at the Drexel. That pretty much leaves the only other decision of what to play second to last. I put FANTASTIC VOYAGE there only because I’m guessing they also want to play the two that are in 35MM earlier.

This is a tough one. I honestly don't know how to schedule this one, so I'll just ask that The Man Who Fell to Earth be played before midnight. It's a great film but slow paced and I really don't want to fall asleep during it. Oh, and maybe just play Jason X first so that all the haters will at least see the movie they claim to hate so much. I think if people are awake, they may be surprised by how much silly fun Jason X really is. Certainly no more ridiculous than Destroy All Monsters or Zardoz.
