I know some of you here are really into 3D so if you are you simply must see BEOWULF in 3D. The action sequences are all pretty intense. It slows down a bit in the middle, but I thought it was fantastic. Worth it for the 3D alone.

I agree, Jack. My family saw it this weekend and the 3D was amazing! The process is "REALD" which is the same that they use in IMAX films, I believe.

If you go, make sure first that the theatre is showing it in 3D...some in my area are not. Admission was about 2.50 additional per ticket, but well worth it. Plus, the glasses are comfortable and cool-looking. They look like ray ban wayfarers.

Oh, and you don't want to miss the previews, because the last couple are in 3D, including a preview for the U2 concert film "U23D". I got chills.

I enjoyed it as well, and keep in mind some prints of this film also have the new Cloverfield trailer on it also. 8)
