According to an interview with Sid Haig on the Fangoria Website

"Although the project is in the very early stages of development and few details are available at this time, Haig has been approached to help with a long-awaited official disc release of Bruce D. Clark’s 1981 Roger Corman-produced sci-fi shocker GALAXY OF TERROR. “The people who are producing that DVD have asked if I would be willing to do some commentary, and I said, ‘Of course,’ ” the actor reveals. Despite longtime fan demand for the film, best remembered for its infamous “maggot rape” scene, no further details were available to Haig at the time of this writing. “They haven’t re-contacted me. I don’t know when their projected release date is or anything like that. It’s still in the works.”

Hehe I know. I was there last 'thon and I loved "Galaxy of Terror"... especially when the cowardly guy puked when someone was killed and then every time he appeared onscreen after that, the whole crowd kept making puking sounds! (That was what I was referring to.) I will definitely pick up the DVD when it's released.
