Yeah, Premieres seem to be a sore spot at both the Boston and Ohio 'thons. AUTOMOTONS was under consideration to play Boston, and, from the sounds of it, was castigated there!

Of course, we got Larry Blamire's limp TRAIL OF THE SCREAMING FOREHEAD instead. But, Blamire seems to have a few fans with LOST SKELETON, so I'm sure there would have been a few happy folks.

And on a similar note I just spotted Puzzlehead at Best Buy not too long ago.

I'm one of those Lost Skeleton fans and to put it and Automatons in the same post is blasphemy. :) Darn, now I have Blasphemed.

Anyhow, Outside of Mr. B Natural, I don't think in the last 10 years I have laughed as hard as I did during the dinner scene in Lost Skeleton. Yes, it ran a bit long but I'm not trying to put it in the AFI top 100 films of all time. It did what it set out to do pretty well.

Great news everyone! The director of Automatons is back and making a new film!

I'm being sarcastic about it being "great news" of course. But this one actually sounds a little more interesting, for what it's worth. Good to know he is abandoning the "slow as molasses" pace he is known for. But seriously, somebody actually let him make another film. Wow.
