This year's BlobFest is celebtrating the 50th anniversary of the film's release, is set to descend upon Phoenixville on July 11 & 12, 2008.

BlobFest is a great time and ballooned to a big event in PA. It's a huge street fair and horror event nowadays. Even the director used to attend until he was killed in a auto crash the same weekend as the show. Wes Shank even attends with the original Blob. He also goes to Monsterbash,too.
There are so many conventions now. Chiller Theatre,Flashback Weekend,Cinema Wasteland,Monstermania,Monsterbash,G-Fest,HorrorFind,Fangoria,HorrorHound,etc. It's getting epic at the amount of conventions and shows per year.
