Thanks to Bruce and Jeff and all those involved. You rock!
It's amazing how we go weeks and weeks with bated breath, and then all of the sudden, it all clicks into place.

Two worthy marathon repeats, and everything else brand new and exciting.

I hope that Galactica is the theatrical release film print. The Max Headroom pilot a couple years ago was a rare treat, but a DVD projection of the cheesy Star Wars ripoff version of the show just wouldn't have the same nostalgic flair.

The only thing that could make it even more perfect is if we had the giant speakers and it was shown in SENSURROUND!

CHEERS to Bruce and company.

Great line up. The only one I haven't seen any of these in a theater and great special guest. A really though provoking bunch of films and no sign of Automatons.

Should Be Best Thon Ever.

THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL - Classic Sci-Fi and a cool Special Guest

STRANGER FROM VENUS - Never seen this one, should be fun

BIG MAN JAPAN - Looks strange and fun

THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN - A classic that I have not seen on the big Screen..Can't Wait

PITCH BLACK - Vin Diesel 'nuff said

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA - I saw this in '78 in sensourround, can't wait to see it again

NINETEEN EIGHTY-FOUR - Never seen this movie but I am interested in seeing it.

LADY TERMINATOR - Never seen it but it's my pick for Best film of the 'thon...only time will tell if I am right.

JOURNEY TO THE SEVENTH PLANET - Love the cheese!!

A CLOCKWORK ORANGE - Great movie but I still think if we were going to show a Malcolm McDowell Movie it should have been BLUE THUNDER so we could also Honor Roy Scheider.

Lady Terminator is a fun bad cheesy movie. I just hope that all of the traditional shorts (Duck Dodgers, Spaceboy, Gravity, will be shown in within the 12PM Saturday 12PM Sunday time block. I remember one year that Duck Dodgers was shown before the official start of the marathon and missed it.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for NOT putting Andromeda Strain on in the middle of the night.

That would have been a knock-out punch at 2 am. As bad as Code 46.

I agree that it is a fantastic idea to showcase the overdue classic in prime time. But still, 1984 I'm sure will be the "knock-out punch" for many. Though in my opinion, that one is also in its logical timeslot.

I liked CODE 46. Not great, but decent. It actually screened around midnight that year.

Maybe it was just that it was AFTER Primer...and are you SURE about that timing?

Because we had the AWESOMENESS that was The Apple and then Primer (which completely bottled my mind) and then Code 46...

Maybe it was just the one two punch.

Surely not as bad as Automatons last year...gosh that movie was just atrocious.

Note the schedule change above: SPUTNIK MANIA will be the second feature at 2:15, followed by THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL at 4:00, followed by Patricia Neal in person.
