I stepped out the front door this morning and looked down at the Columbus Dispatch. I could see part of a headline and a picture. The part of the headline I could see said, "at 82." My first thought was someone famous died. I bent over and saw the caption on the picture said it was Patricia Neal. I thought I was looking at our guest's obituary. I was quite relieved to see that it was just an article showing that she was going to be in town this weekend.

It worries me when I think about things like that. Some would say I killed Alec Guinness by wondering if he was still alive 13 hours before he died. A similar thing happened with Ronald Reagan. I'm glad I don't believe in magic. If I did, I would expect her to die today because I thought she had.

Hey KidneyPi - maybe it works in reverse, too? Would you mind doing me a favor and think of me, alive and well, every day for the rest of your life? Shouldn't be too much trouble - just a quick thought every morning - "Ahhh, what do you know, another good day for Scottcoz!"

Thanks! :)
