I was looking at my old 10th annual SciFi thon T-Shirt and was trying to remember all the references. How many can you name? The only one I'm stumped on is the cable television one, but I remember knowing it at one time.

2. Cable Television July '88
3. Snackfood industry October '90
4. The White House November '92
5. US Congress November '94
6. GR12 Shortage April '95
7. Drugstore chains May '95
8. World Wide Web February '96
9. Ohio Statehouse March 30-31, '96

I thought perhaps it was the end of Qube and the switch to whatever was the name of Time Warner Cable back then, but I'm not sure that is the right year.

I researched Qube, but I can't find any dates that tie to that year. I'm thinking it was when the cable TV industry regulation ended. Anyway, here's what I can remember. I think I was wrong about what I thought the snack food one was. I was thinking Olestra, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
