The Ohio Sci-Fi and Horror Marathons

Call me a noob if this is old news, but I've been doing some research on our old friend SPACE BOY.

Turns out the song was originally written for the soundtrack of the film QUEEN OF BLOOD. It was never used, I'm assuming because someone actually listened to it first, but nevertheless was recorded by dear old Florence Marly and her orchestrator on the song, one Frank Zappa. Additional sound effects were by Dr. Acula himself, Forrest J. Ackerman.

It's a weird world we live in.

After my 5th marathon, I am now truly a marathoid. I found myself looking forward to Space Boy. I also realize that if I ever find myself in a zero-g love fest, I'll probably crack up laughing because I'll be thinking of it.
