Here is an article about the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still. We're mentioned.

Holy carp, they we are.

And it's even to the review of the Marathon I wrote for MovieWeb.

Wow. I'm stunned.

I got a chance to see some of the forthcoming Advertising artwork recently.

The campaign seems to be a cross between INDEPENDENCE DAY and CLOSE ENCOUNTERS.

Oh, and in large letters, "Keanu Reeves"...

.gotta admit, that's still hard to fathom or to take.

...right on, Ms. Patricia Neal!

Wow!!!! By the director of Hellraisr: Inferno! It's got to be good. What a monumental train wreck this will be. And you just know there will be car chases galore, explosions, lasers, etc... If it had a different title, I'd go see it knowing I'd probably hate it and I'd walk out hating it but be able to forget it instantly, like Constantine. No harm, no foul. If I see this, it will be while I'm movie hoping and there's just NOTHING else to top out a triple feature and my morbid curiousity just gets the better of me and then I'd take that hate to the grave. It opens the day before my birthday, so thankfully, I'll find something better to do (I hope).
