Just out of curiousity, was anybody standing in line with us when the dude crashed his bike early Saturday morning? That was an exciting start to things. At that point, there were only around 20 - 30 people in line, if memory serves me right. If anybody's interested, I have pictures of him picking up the pieces, along with the cop that showed up to find out what was going on.

Yeah, I heard it and then walked over to see but once it seemed he was okay, I wandered back to my spot in line. If he had been hurt I would have tried to help. The way the initial sentence sounded was, "Oh, no blood? No interest."

No... no blood. However, if it's any consolation, the guy lost his shoe in the wreck. I have a picture of him hopping on one foot (the other foot, shoeless) as he's picking up itty bitty pieces of his bike.

This of course wouldn't all be so funny, if it weren't for the fact that he was showing off immediately before he spun out of control and crashed. That, plus he walked away unhurt.
