Besides the Obligatory new countdown thread, where is everybody?

I know the Boston Messageboard has been slow recently (though it's picking up recently: www.sf.theboard.net) it took far longer for it to cool down after the Marathon.

I keep checking in with the countdown thread but haven't really had anything new to post otherwise. I guess I should swing by Boston and see what they are talking about.

In response to your 2nd wondering where everyone is post, I'm here but I understand the cooldown. The marathon takes up a good chunk of my time in the spring obsessing over it. Especially being out of state. This year was even more maddening with the late date announcement. Anyway, it's kind of like when you're playing WOW obsessively for hours at a time several days in a row (just one more quest! I mean it this time!). The excitement builds up, then it's over and it's wonderfully satisfying. But I don't want to start obsessing again 11 months in advance. So I kind of have to drag myself away from that just like you have to drag yourself away from a computer game, just to keep sane.

I have been lurking, and I do plan on posting occasionally. I just don't have anything marathon related to say right now.

Ah, you are trying to retain your sanity. That must be what makes you guys different from the Boston crowd.

I'm here...but just insanely busy with work (last week alone was over 63 hours) so just not much spare time at the moment. :(

The Marathon boards always seem to slow down quite a bit until shortly before the next 'thon. I check back in every once in a while, but not too often.
