I love the Sci-fi marathon and I can't wait for it every year. However, I have been reading the posts about all the premieres...Alien Tresspass looks OK, but we're gettin too many. Don't bog down the schedule with too much. Keep it short and sweet

The schedule needs more classic Sci-fi, both good and bad (I LOVE the MST3K-type films we get to see!!) Just don't try to cram too much in.

OK, enough complaining...looking forward to the big weekend!

I'm kind of in the same boat. I generally enjoy the premieres, but I'm really craving some more classics in there. Right now the only "classics" we have are Logan's Run (which I am very grateful for), and STII. But still, that means that there isn't a film in the line-up that is older than I am.

One of the great things for me about the 'thon is the mix of seeing premieres and seeing classics that I've never had the chance to see on the big screen.

So, I'm really hoping for some 1930's-1950's films to make their way into the line-up, whether they be classics along the lines of The Day the Earth Stood Still and It Came From Outer Space, or cheese-fests like Queen of Outer Space.

True it is time for more classics. The recent one is based on a freaking board Role Playing Game. WTF?! does anyone want to sit through a movie that is based on a game?! The director have even worse credits than that guy who directed S. Darko. His last movie Lighthouse got 4.8/10 stars on IMDB. Please Bruce you are slowly making me regretting buying my ticket. Please lay off the premiers.

Then I'm about 2 years older than Star Trek II. More classic Sci Fi from the 1930's to the mid 1980's.
