Here we are the day before the 26th (2009) Columbus Science Fiction Marathon. How do you keep busy?

I taking a precious paid personial day off to run some errends, chores, other odds and ends. Try to keep busy.

Scrutinize the Columbus Dispatch article read it over and over. See what picture they used.

Keep posting. Since I can post using my Nokia XpressMusic 5310 I might do some sort of live blog.

Tip for sleeping extra hours tune to The Ohio Channel 34.2 that will put you to sleep. Note must have a digital tuner.

I will sleep lots and I'm hoping since I've switched to third shift. I'll have an edge this year to make it through the whole thon awake.

But Robocop is situated right about the point that I would normally snooze and I don't have a lot of hope to make it all the way through it with my eyes open.

I can't wait for this thon though. I am really siked. KHAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!!

I have had a cold/flu thing most of the week. I am working from home today to try to get rest and feel better. I have done these sick before and they are not nearly as fun as when I am well.

This is why I loaded up on the vitiman C and B the last two weeks.

My two week pre Marathon diet is food that contains C and B vitimans, little gluten as possible, heavy on the beans, whole weat rice, fruit and veggies.

The day before the 'thon, my plan (as always) is just to take it easy. no chores, no home improvement projects ... just putting my feet up and having a very relaxing and restful day. I go to bed early and try to get lots of rest.

I got in town late Wednesday. Bought tickets Thursday and got the "you look like my creepy uncle" vibe from the college girl behind the counter. She's obviously not excited about working the event. I visited friends last night so I'm staying in tonight to get some rest. I brought a couple old Harryhausen films to watch tonight. I can't wait until Logan's Run in about 18 hours.

Well its about time for me to try to get me some more sleep. I'll listen to some music. I can always watch Sarah Conner on hulu.

I hope to find an outlet of some kind in the theater. So I can live blog using my cell.

Please be nice to the Drexel employees. They have to put up with us for 24 or 12 hours.
