While surfing during the commute, i heard them mention the Marathon on Mark Dancer's show. He sounded like it definitely wasn't his kind of thing, but he was happy to support anything Jeff and Kathy Frank did. They talked about costume contest. I only caught the tail end of it, since I was on scan mode.

The marathon was on the cover of the Dispatch's Weekender, I love the art they used, by the way. Nice article on how to stay awake and written by someone who attends, which is also nice.

I haven't had a chance to pick up the dead tree version yet, but I do see the Other Paper has a nice long article that you can get to from the interwebs. http://theotherpaper.com/articles/2010/04/15/arts/doc4bc64a433ad32918181686.txt

Anyone else see or hear anything?

Here's the Dispatch article.

Fun fact, I realized after reading it that the person he's referring to who said they'd be there at 5? Based on an e-mail conversation I had with Nick, I think that's me.

It did seem odd to get there after 10:30am since the seating is first come first served.

Sure, but lots of people do choose to get there then. Those of us who arrive before the sun are a small, but proud band.

I know. I'll be there as early as 6:10am no later than 6:30am. According to Google Maps. I'll try to get some sleep. As always I have a hard time sleeping before the event.
