The Ohio Sci-Fi and Horror Marathons

I'm not sure why I love a good after the end of the world Sci-Fi movie, but I just do.

I was looking up Watchmen in IMDB and found that Jackie Earle Haley who plays Rorschach was in an old movie that I loved as a kid. Damnation Alley with Jan-Michael Vincent & George Peppard, a great after the nuclear destruction movie. This would be a great movie for the thon.

That got me thinking, wouldn't a Post-apocalyptic theme be awesome for the thon. I'm sure there are plenty of movies out there. Heck I even loved the Postman.

Just a thought.

Can't wait till next thon.

Damnation Alley is a good movie and deserves a proper DVD release!! A couple other titles to add to the theme would have to be:

Over the top and quite silly, but would play well at the 'thon. It disappeared pretty quickly too, so all the "too recent for the marathon" haters wouldn't mind too much.

I'd also welcome IDIOCRACY, but I heard the studio destroyed all the prints.
