Moon
Any of the Peter Chushing
Dr Who flicks
Batman movie (Burt Ward Adam West)
S.H.E (1980's version)
Dark CIty Gorjia
The Terminator

I agree with willcail lets get the list going:

2010 (Figured this is a Given)
Q (Since it was a no show at the horror 'thon)
MOON (would like to see this on the big screen)
JASON X (Please we need some cheese)
    THE FOURTH KIND (Marathon Premiere)
EVENT HORIZON (Sci-Fi and Horror = Sweet!)

also 2 or 3 old Black and white classic Sci-Fi Movies both serious and cheesy :D

I second the Peter Cushing Doctor Who movies and raise the Paul McGann Doctor Who movie. Maybe a classic serial of one of the early Doctors scattered through the lineup would be nice. I suggest The Unearthly Child or The Edge of Destruction, both with William Hartnell. The Unearthly Child is four episodes. The Edge of Destruction might be better for the marathon since it is only two.

As for other movies, I'd like to see Green Slime, The Explorers, and either the 1980 or 1998 version of Brave New World, though I would prefer the 1998 version because it has Leonard Nimoy.

Of course, as always, Howard the Duck.

On Tuesday I watch Devil Girl from Mars on 17.3. Its very cheesy and it could be a good fit for the sci fi thon. The issue with the Doctor Who: The Enemy Within is that the USA rights are in limbo. The telefilm was a co production of FOX, Universal, and the BBC.

I forgot about Kaiju until Mecha74 said it. It has been too long since we've had a good monster movie. Anything with Gojira, Mothra, Gamera, or any of the other classic monsters would be nice.

My two cents:

Phantom Of The Paradise (One of my favorite films- I'd LOVE to see this on the big screen- Arguably the inspiration for Darth Vader and KISS.)
Moon
The Man Who Fell To Earth
Barbarella
Liquid Sky
Invasion of the Saucer Men
Solaris
Queen of Blood (Featuring Florence Marly- Would go well with Spaceboy original and remake)
Voyage of the Rock Aliens
Quatermass and the Pit
The Lathe of Heaven (British TV Version)
Dark Star
The Green Slime
I Married a Monster From Outer Space

Here are just a few comments on the few suggestions...

I don't know if "sanctuary" has browsed the Boston marathon website or if it is a coincidence, but they just announced The Lathe of Heaven as part of their lineup. It will be a video projection because it is very rare and film prints probably do not exist. And as you know, a lot of the things Boston gets trickle down to us sometimes. That goes for A Boy and His Dog which showed there a couple years ago (a brand new print, from what I gather) and Repo Man, which hasn't played since SF11.

2010 I have heard is mysteriously unavailable from the studio, though an obvious choice. Good call on Phantom of the Paradise, I would love to see that thing gloriously projected to the marathon throng.

Both versions of The Thing played in Ohio last year, so those are out. Bruce has persued both Soylent Green and The Man Who Fell to Earth, don't know what happened in either case. The Green Slime and The Black Hole are both famously unavailable and I am sure remain on the short list every year until something happens. Remember, last year's Logan's Run was sought after for years and years so you never know...

Looking at the rest of Boston's lineup so far, Colossus: The Forbin Project is a nice catch that I hope Bruce can snag, District 9 is one of the best SF films I have seen in a long while, but it is too soon after it's release for it's inclusion this year to be interesting. Moon, however, was largely overlooked.

And Bruce has committed to a definite maybe on Jason X:

Someday, probably not this year, I think we'll do this. We'll do it to honor Tim, former Drexel Grandview manager, organizer of his own horrothons, in his comix shop days one of the most generous prize donors of the golden age of the Drexel North , and fervent marathon website poster. I can almost guarantee that it will be shown in the wee hours, 3AM, 5AM, 7AM. I, for one, having never seen it, look forward to having JASON X keep me awake.

... but it is on the list

So maybe this is the year...

Very cool that Boston is screening "The Lathe of Heaven" maybe we'll get it as well... that was a complete coincidence- Hadn't seen any info on Boston- That one has been on my wish list for the past couple years.

PLEASE screen "Phantom of the Paradise"! That would be a blast!
