No matter what the last films added are, I am sure the 'Thon will be fantastic as always!...also, I can't wait to say DUCK DODGERS OF THE 24TH AND A HALF CENTURY!!.....Seriously, thank you soo much to Bruce, Jeff and Jen for all their hard work putting this thing together. It would not be possible without you!

Other "theaters" or "patrons" must reading some of this cause in the past week I've been approached to "assist" in possible other marathons in the sci-fi/horror realm at other theaters in Columbus. Will this consist of an "overthrow" or "more competition",I can't say at this point but it seems that out of frustration has grown a groundswell of activity on others that maybe have more vision.
wow, what a douche

Can I second the motion of calling Infa-Kid a douche as well. Since putting on a marathon is hard work and it seems one poster on this message borad wants to bitch and moan. Since he doesn't understand basic copyright laws of any kind. Bruce and Jen work so hard to put this thing together and have to go to vendors to get film prints.

Do I really need to come in here and post a message asking all involved to give this a rest?

Infra-Kid, your point has been made, and continuing to insult the people working Very Very Hard to actually put on a Marathon isn't helping your case or anyone's temperament. This thread was supposed to be for announcing and discussing the film lineup, not for a flame-war over the organizers.

As for everyone else, when the thread devolves into name-calling, seriously ... it's time to quit. Don't make me get out my boom-stick.

Locking the thread. Jen and the admins can still post here as there are new announcements to be made. Everyone else, if you MUST continue this battle, post it in the Kaboom forum.
