Jen- I finally saw "Casshern" on DVD last night- I loved it!

If you ever get a chance to see Goemon, which is by the makers of Casshern, I highly recommend it. It's more a historical fantasy type film, but visually very striking/beautiful, interesting plot, and decent acting. My only complaint is there isn't enough Tetsuji Tamayama in it. XDD

Are the prints of the older sci-fi classics that hard to find? Just wondering since this year's marathon has so many premieres and a much more recent flavor. Since Buckaroo Bonzai isn't available, even the era of late 1970's- 1990 sci-fi moviews are mostly missing from this marathon. :?

I don't know much, but to my understanding there were several films for consideration that we just couldn't get prints for. :(

You did your best Jen. You work hard and that is good. Good thing that there are no 16mm pan and scan prints.
