And why have we never seen Repo! The Genetic Opera at the 'thon? I can hardly think of a film more suited to a marathon crowd. :)

I think that might be better for a horror marathon crowd. Can't say I like it all that much, but could be fun with a crowd. Now where the heck is They Live in this conversation?! I know there are prints out there, it's played in Chicago 3 times in the last 5 years!

I personally would love to see The City of Lost Children play.

I'm liking alot of these late wishes City of lost children would be great. Can we have another subtitled movie?
What about Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind? Would it be to touchy feely?

These are good picks. I'm still waiting for the possible confirmation of Endhiran. Since it is under three weeks until SF28 I'm waiting for the lineup. If Endhiran does get added then 2 or 3 films to complete the lineup.

I think even if Endhiran is included there's room for 3 or 4 more films. If it doesn't play, there should be 4 or 5 films. Let's not lowball ourselves on the number of titles before we end up cutting one anyway.

I apologize if this has been brought up before - I've kind of lost track of this thread - but if ever there was a film MADE for the marathon crowd, this is it!

The runtime of Endhiran is three hours one more movie could fit not two or three. There are trailers, shorts, costume contest and other factors that make up the rest of the time.

People vs George Lucas or Jason X would be fine.

Endhiran is awesome, but 3 hours does seem kind of excessive for a marathon film. Particularly since it's mostly subtitled (although there's some English thrown in there as well). I really enjoy it, but I think it's going to end up being either a nap or dinner break movie for me, depending on what time they play it. I did just see it a couple of months ago.

We're getting a pretty heavy load in this marathon; Several subtitled films, including one that's nearly THREE hours long.

We could use a few older classics like one of the Godzillas (especially one of the funnier ones from the 1970's), one of the awful Ed Wood horror films, or some of the 1950's "giant bug / man / woman run amuck" films.

I am looking forward to "Troll Hunter", but the list is getting a little too lopsided.

Let the angry replies begin....
