WOW what a great movie...3-D, Fast Cars, Big Guns, Big Boobs and A Satanic Cult and just when you though It just can't get any better TOM ATKINS walks on the screen. I just can't give away anything else without revealing the supernatural plot.

GO SEE THIS MOVIE!

Having seen this Monday night, all I will really add to this is, "Preferably without spending money on it."

In all fairness, William Fichtner gives quite the performance as The Accountant, and the movie has its moments, but overall ... hmmm. Seriously. Dollar-movie-house or Saturday afternoon cable. That's about as much as I'd recommend. 3D glasses notwithstanding.

I don't feel like I totally wasted those two hours of my life. That's positive, right?

It's been pretty well documented on here that if I am entertained by a movie than thats all I care about, true DRIVE ANGRY is not the movie event of the year and yes William Fichtner gives by far the best performance in the movie However DRIVE ANGY deliveres everything the trailer promised and so much more.......

*******Spoiler Alert******************

*******Seriously Don't scroll down if you don't want to learn about major plot points***************

We Slowly learn that Nicholas Cage escaped from hell to save his granddaughter from Satan Worshippers. Hell is nothing more than a large prision and Satan is the warden (who hates it when people sacafic babies in his name) and in the prison you are forced to watch video feeds of all the bad stuff that happens to people you love. William Fichtner is "The Accountant" sent by Satan to bring Cage back to Hell/Prison. Also Cage managed to escape with a "GOD KILLING GUN" ....Oh come on this is amazing shit, I love this plot and I was SOOOOO happy none of this was revealed in the trailer......

If this sounds boring to you than skip the movie but if this sounds fun spend the extra money and see it in 3-D for me it was $$$ well spent.

Might have just been my mood that soured it, but overall I think it just falls short of its marks. Good ideas (in spite of incredibly cliched dialog and plot devices), but the dialog needs to be snappier, the action needs to better paced, much of the acting needs to be better, and it needs a lot less dead weight. And, of course, I've never thought gratuitous 3D brings much of a value-add to any film, certainly didn't save this one for me.

Overall, it's just not tight enough. It's trying to be a roller-coaster, but it's built more like a log flume.

Still, worth a buck or two. Would play moderately well at a Marathon as a premiere, maybe "King of the Ants" or "The Refrigerator" kind of reception. I doubt I would recommend it otherwise.

Just my opinion, after all. :)
