Anyone else see the Other paper article (I don't see it on line, or would post it) that the staff didn't like the management style of the new husband and wife owner's and walked out on Sunday? The husband and wife own 50%, the other 50% owner doesn't involve himself in management, the article said.

For more on this tete-a-tete, check out the letters page of today's OTHER PAPER. The unintentionally hilarious lead letter is worth the money you won't spend on the paper alone!

I'll have to find a copy, but I can't imagine it beating a letter I saw published in the Lantern when I was at Ohio State. The author was talking about the evils of Satan and how he was impacting the university. The only problem is, he spelled Satan, Satin.

That prompted a variety of letters proposing why other fabrics were more evil.

Apologies for getting off topic, but isn't 'the Other Paper' the same publication that took a royal dump on us and our beloved marathon in an article a few years back?

'Tis always been the fatal flaw of THE OTHER PAPER, their often failed desire to be the NATIONAL LAMPOON for Columbus. However, they do have their share of good stories, and I can attest that this account of the Studio debacle is mostly accurate.

As for the lead letter, she did everything but give directions and hours for her establishments.

I seem to recall they had one article knocking us, but I also recall they usually list the Marathons in the Alternaflicks section, which I always assumed was free.

Makes me yearn for the days when Cowtown had "HOOT", the comics paper. They always did support Marathons, the Doo Dah Parade, Comfest, etc..

Yeah, I miss HOOT. I actually found a stash of them I had saved the other day. ^_^
