Skip the Cineplex and go Old School.

Scroll down a bit to get past TMNT and Wild Hogs.

I’ve been there a couple times and they do a nice job.

That's too bad. I was only contemplating going to see it unless it was "excellent." But since it's only "really good," I don't know if I will go now.

It lacked some of the comedy in parts 1 and 2 and Toby was out acted by everyone in the movie, it was almost like he din't want to be in this film but the action and special effects were top notch.

I don't think it is possible to be out acted by Kirsten Dunst, sorry.

That should tell you how bad he was.

I was very disappointed with Spider Man 3. Especially on the heels of arguably the best superhero movie ever made. Even more of a letdown than Superman Returns. The script was an absolute mess and the action was unmotivated by anything resembling a sensible series of events. And don't even get me started on Old Butler Dude. Years of pent up anger erased by a single line of dialog!

It certainly didn't feel like the Most Expensive Movie Ever Made(TM). There are exactly three reasons to see this film: Bruce Campbell, JKSimmons and Topher Grace. The Venom action was well done and fun, but the character was disappointingly one dimensional.

I thought James Franco did an excellent job, didn't like the ending though but that wasn't his fault.

I didn't have that big of a problem with it, but it was definitely way too much story for one movie. Harry, Sandman, and Brock/Venom all crammed together is just getting to be too much to give everything the proper level of attention it deserves.

The story could've done well with Brock & Venom cut entirely. Peter was already kind of self-centered and oblivious to his relationship problems BEFORE the symbiote came along anyway, and Venom had so little screen-time... it would've been better suited to it's own movie. Crazy Harry, "New Goblin", and Sandman fit the bill just fine.

Though "New Goblin" gets my vote for WORST SUPERVILLAIN EVER. Near-fatally wounded and needing to be rescued to live by your arch nemesis on your FIRST DAY OUT as a supervillain is bad news man. Go beat up some old ladies to warm-up first or SOMETHING. Rob a bank even. And get a mask that doesn't look like it's from your last paintball game. That + hoverboard = X-GAMES VILLAINY BABY!

I too was disappointed with Spiderman 3. The reporting during the battle seemed needles. Yes, we can kind of figure out he is taking a beating, we don't need to be told again.

The butler scene seemed to have been slapped in there because they couldn't figure out a way to get Harry to help otherwise.

The downside of the drive-in was the quality of the screen really cut into the quality of the effects. I think seen at the Gateway or other state of the art theater probably would have helped the visuals.
