One of the great character actors of all time, CHARLES LANE, has passed on at the ripe age of 102!

We've all seen him in IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, but he did over 300 TV shows and Films! An amazing career spanning back to the early 1930's and he even did voice work as recently as 2006! Lane was in the classics TWENTIETH CENTURY, BALL OF FIRE, and MR.DEEDS GOES TO TOWN amongst his many Film credits. TV work included THE TWILIGHT ZONE, SOAP, BEVERLY HILLBILLIES, BEWITCHED and PETTICOAT JUNCTION.

At the Boston SF Marathon, we were witness to his appearance in the sublimely odd STRANGE INVADERS (SF/10).

A Great One, who will be missed.... :(
