A previous thread mentioned that Flash Gordon was coming out on August 7 and the price would be $32. I picked up a copy today for $16.99. Best Buy has it marked at $19.99, but it rings up lower. They don't keep it in the new releases section. You can find it in the Sci-Fi section. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. Maybe tomorrow. |

Extras are a little sparse, but what it has is pretty cool. Alex Ross talks about how Flash Gordon was a big influence on his art, they talk to the screen writer of the 1980 Flash Gordon, but the coolest feature is that it has the first chapter of the 1936 serial. |
