The Ohio Sci-Fi and Horror Marathons

For those in the state of Ohio who also happen to be convention hoppers like myself, I thought I would just drop a line that this coming weekend is the spring show for the Cinema Wasteland Movie and Memorabilia Expo, at the Holiday Inn Select in Strongsville, Ohio. For those who are unfamilar, this is a convention that is held twice a year in the Spring and Fall and has always been in the same location. There are always tons of celebrity guests from old school horror films, movie marathons , and a huge dealers room chock full of goodies. The con runs for three days starting Friday evening at 5PM and goes on through Saturday and Sunday.

It's that time of the year again.

October 5th,6th and 7th.

I really want to go to this, but there’s more going on in October than I can afford to do. I’m going to the Little Art’s horror movie marathon in Yellow Springs, OH on the 12th-13th, Halloween Spooktacular at Studio 35 on the 14th, and of course the 4th incredible 2-headed marathon (this is the one I’m looking forward to the most ) on the 20th-21st. I just don’t think I have enough money to squeeze in one more event .

I’m not really sure. All I know is that there will be 6 hours of independent horror short films, live music, and cold beer.
