After learning of the very sudden and shocking death of Roy Scheider yesterday I felt it was only right to watch JAWS and pay homage to one of my heroes, so my wife, my oldest daughter and I sat down around 8:00pm last night and popped in the 30th Anniversary Edition of JAWS on DVD.
As I watched JAWS I was happy that the death of Roy Scheider didn't change the movie watching experience for me. At first I couldn't help but feel sad and a sense of loss but by the time Cheif Brody was telling Hendricks to "let Polly do the Printing" I was lost in the movie and it wasn't until it was over that reality hit again as I looked at my wife and said "It's a sad day" she agreed and went to bed.
