Hello All,

Not sure how anyone else feels about this but I would like to see jenbowie add The Sci-Fi Marathon and Horror Marathon to Twittter for news and updates.

If anyone wants to follow me on twitter I am @jawsthreedfan

Thanks Tim

I guess I just look at it in terms of the fact that actual news about the Marathons is far enough apart that a single tweet about the news is likely to get lost in my feed. I'd much rather get e-mails about important news.

Then again, I also check the forum often enough (even if I don't post) that I'm not real likely to miss any news in any case.

So, while I'm not really opposed, I don't see much need.

Oh, and if anyone wants to follow me on Twitter, I am @AaronUnicorn

I am far more likely to pay attention, however, to Facebook:

I was thinking like last minute updates while we are in line waiting to get in, besides can't you just see Bruce using Twitter :D

...what he said.

It looks like Twitter is here to stay, so it couldn't hurt as far as free publicity goes. You never know who might stumble upon us, the more resources the better. Personally, I think Facebook is a better idea.

I am @DPighunter if anyone cares, but don't expect a lot of activity because I'm not famous and I don't have a cell phone right now.

We block social networking at work and so I use neither facebook or Twitter, but I don't care if they do it.

And, tweeting live during the marathon would be interesting. However, consideration should be given just like in a normal theater. Glowing screens are a distraction, even if you consider texting "silent." So please, tweet away, but only during breaks or in the lobby.
