As most people know SUPERMAN RETURNS was released to IMAX screens with over 20 minutes of 3-D and now the REAL D project is in full swing. http://www.reald.com/ MONSTER HOUSE will be released in both 2D and 3D and coming soon a re-release of Tim Burton's A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS is going to get the REAL D treatment. Being a huge fan of 3-D I hope this time around the formula works and 3-D is here to stay. So far looks like the only REAL D cinema in Columbus is the new RAVE CINEMA at Polaris, it would be great it the GATEWAY would make the big theatre REAL D ready for the SCI-FI Marathon. Could you imagine STAR WARS (Episode 4) in 3-D!!!! |
