Hello Bruce and/or Jen

Would it be possible to set up a text messaging system for the projectionist to receive text messages during the marathon?

Example:

Marathoneer: FRAME UP
Projectionist: DONE
Marathoneer: Thanks dude you rock

What do you think?

OOOooooo...that could go so horribly wrong. The poor projectionist's phone/crackberry just explodes in the booth due to audience bombardment.

6 out of Seven movies so far are filmed in anamorphic/super 35. The Projectionist job this year is going to be easy.

We had this line of communication set up during the Horror Marathon, and it does work out really well ... BUT, things are crazy enough up in the booth without having multiple people sending messages. My advice would be to leave it to Bruce/Joe/Jeff.

On another note, Joe and I had discussed posting the contents of our text messages during the last event. Certainly puts things into perspective ... quite the funny read at points. :)
