I just finished watching The Eleventh Hour, the first episode of Matt Smith's tenure at The Doctor. I never understood why people who grew up in the UK in the 60s and 70s often said they watched Doctor Who from behind the sofa. I think I understand now. The scary has returned. I'm tempted to call it the best introductory episode of a new Doctor, but I can't yet. I still haven't seen the 3rd and 5th. I'm watching the reconstruction of the 2nd now. I really like the new intro, but I'm not sure yet about the new theme song. The vortex seems more vortexy. Overall, the music is very different from previous series. Good, but different. Has anyone else seen it yet? What are your thoughts? |

I'm reluctant to say how I saw it, but it rhymes with abhorrent. The Swedish site that was in legal trouble is still a great source for foreign television. |

That was pretty much what I figured - I just hadn't found one yet. Watched the first five minutes. Going to have to wait until my wife gets home from work to watch the rest, otherwise she'll kill me. But I dug it. |
