Them's dangerous words, my friend. You do remember Automatons, right? Or showing Don't Look Now in the wee hours of the morning?

I said "Bruce AND Joe" You didn't have anything to do with Automatons and I don't Care what anyone says "Don't Look Now" was a good movie.

Don't get me wrong, my DLN comment had nothing to do with its quality as a film (it's a personal fave) and everything to do with its dire time slot.

And even though I had OFFICIALLY had nothing to do with Automatons, I did give it the good word on the forum, so I feel just a bit culpable in the whole mess.

Once the audience became united in their hatred for Automatons it actually became a fun event, some of the lines people were yelling were great. Never before had I felt so close to my marathon brethren. BUT NEVER SHOW IT AGAIN!!

I noticed The Last Circus mentioned on the flier. That would be a great addition to the lineup if possible. Alex de la Iglesia is a hugely underrated director. I hope it doesn't offend any clown lovers in the audience...

After I watch the trailer for The Last Circus, I want to watch it. Please try to book this film.

Also noticed on the flier that The Woman, Whisperer in the Darkness and (sob, sob ...) Monster Brawl weren't listed anymore among the potential premieres.

Dead for good or resurrectable?

I'm dissapointed as well. All of the listed films would be better than A Serbian Film. Sigh.

Those were cut from the flier for space reasons more than anything. Remember that Robogeisha wasn't listed on last year's flier either.

Traditionally, any and all possible (i.e. non-confirmed) premieres listed in the press materials are a snapshot of films that we're pursuing. Confirming premieres can vary by the title and situation, so there's never a set timetable for said confirmation. Rest assured, when we know about any additional films/premieres, the information will be posted here and on our web outlets.

Just out of curiousity how many people on this forum have ACTUALLY seen A Serbian Film? I'm just wondering how many decisions on the movie is based on what they have read/heard vs. people that have actually survived watching it?

On a lighter note, I am pulling for Monster Brawl ,I'm hoping to see Kevin Nash give the Mummy the Jackknife Powerbomb!!!

Very true, but I also have a VERY high tolerance for disturbing images. Don't get me wrong A Serbian Film makes Cannibal Holocaust look like Toy Story but IT IS A GOOD FILM. Cinematography make all the difference in the world when shooting a movie such as this and Srdjan Spasojevic NAILED it. :D

Here's to still hoping it gets shown. Not because I want to see it again. Even though I will sit and watch it again, but because I want to watch your faces!

I have seen it. I actually have a screener of the uncut version. It is brutal, but very well made and something that you will be thinking about days afterward.
