Post subject:  Schedule?

So now that we have a more or less finalized line-up, do we have anything approaching a schedule?

I'm also curious if the premieres are film prints or digital. Midnight Son looks like the kind of movie (independent, no distributor) that might not even have any film prints. Also, I had heard that completely uncut prints of A Serbian Film were not available in the U.S.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread, but I think the topics are related enough, yes?

Midnight Son is on Blu-Ray, apparently its only format right now.

We were originally told by the distributor that the only uncut version of Serbian Film that they have is on 35mm. We're waiting for final confirmation of this.

The schedule has been up in the air during the premiere hunting process. Understandably, different premieres could be more appropriate in different time slots. Now that the lineup is seemingly complete, we should have a more firmed up schedule soon.

I do hope Midnight Son will be properly framed. Since I Sell the Dead was croped from 2.35:1 to 1.78:1. If the movie is on Blu Ray then it shouldn't be a problem. If the theater have a HDMI cable connected to the video projector.

Anyway how soon is the schedule going to be posted? Is it going to be posted by Wednesday or by seven pm on Friday Night?

Please schedule A Serbian Film around 10 or 11pm so people who don't want to see it can leave and go somewhere eise for an hour and forty minutes.

How about ending another third twenty four hour Horror Marathon with A Serbian Film. If people want to stay and watched it that's fine. If people want to go at ten am that is fine as well.

Come on, man. WILLY WONKA does not belong on the schedule. In this so called "film" there are numerous scenes of child abuse and torture, not to mention slavery. If they do decide to show WILLY WONKA, it needs to play sometime around dinner so we can go do somethig else besides being subjected to this so called "film."

Ahh Worldfinest, you still don't get it. My parents raised me to have values. You do understand that don't you? I have many extreme films in my video library. I draw the line when it comes to the content of A Serbian Film. Then having principles is the same as whining to you.

No, the point that was being made is that you have made your point.

Repeatedly.

In multiple threads.

Dead horse is dead.

You don't want to watch A SERBIAN FILM. You think that it should be aired at a time people can easily skip it.

The point has been made. Making it again doesn't do any further good.

Bingo!!

I don't plan on getting into a moral pissing contest because I can morally separate fact and fiction. Further, I have several people on this site that know where my morals stand and can vouch for me. This is about your preference and you pushing your morals on everyone else without allowinig them to make a sound decision on their own.

I agree that I'll more than like find this movie disgusting/repulsive but can't I make that judgement on my own without Sarah Palin telling me it's a sin?

Remember, when you point the finger at someone, you have three fingers pointing right back at you...and those fingers are saying shut the F#$% up. I'm willing to bury the hatchett but please stop making a mountain out of a mole hill with my morality or lack there of.

Technically, we shouldn't use the phrase "dead horse" because it might be offensive to horse lovers.
